The NDA makes references to not copying the provided information in any form. Presumably this doesn't mean that we can't print them out for ease of use though? As I say this may be a stupid question but seeing as I've signed and sent the form I may as well be extra careful about not screwing something up. Additionally, I notice that the player/GM locator section is up on the web page too. It looks good. Now we just need a few more people to add to it. Preferably some a bit closer to me. A couple of points about how it's arranged, 1. Click on the button. This will open a new window with the email form in it. Also inside it is a link to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). 2. Click on this link to view (and print) the NDA. You can pull the File menu down and select Print or you can use the Print button. 3. Click on the Back button to return to the form. 4. Complete the form and click on Submit. When you do this you will see a warning box. Click on OK and that box will disappear. However you won't have any other indication that the email was sent. If you don't see any warning messages then it went off okay. If you do see something, write it down and email me (banzai@missouri.edu). 5. Mail or fax us the form and as soon as we receive it I will email the new rules to you. Again (for the new people), if you want to be listed in the GM/Player Locator, just send me an email with; 1. Your name. 2. Your location (city, state, country). 3. Your email address. 4. Your preference (player, GM or both) 5. Any other comments you want listed. I haven't had a chance to read the rules yet, but I kinda liked the old system that pretty much boiled down to "take what you would logically have," at least to me. Well, sure, so can I, but unless it has something to do with the adventure or more drama, I'm not going to. If one character--say a Marshall, to resurrect an undying thread--can do almost everything, then the GM has to work to make the other characters feel useful. > You'd almost have to list with every profession a "base scale" (I like > Kintaro's suggestion, btw), and a short treatment of what changing them > does. Why not? Of course you may print the rules text files we send you for ease of reference. Despite the language of the NDA, we do not expect you to restrict yourself to reading/using them only on your computer. And thanks BTW, for being so conscientious. 2. All the main rules are included in the playtest files - both character generation and general mechanics. Vehicle rules on the other hand are still in the works. There will be periodic changes/updates as we hear back from playtesters and things are finalized. We will annouce when/if any major changes occur, to the list, and then all you need to do is request the updated files and they will be sent to you. Hope this helps, Jeff Barber Biohazard Games *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.imagiconline.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message.
