The exact time can get pounded out later when we figure out who's in it. This'll be run on IRC 'cause that's the simplest and easiest for me, unless it's a major problem for someone. Those who are interested, even if you sent me a message already, send me another one, I'm going to get a little list together. Also, if people could toss out an idea or two about what they would like the story to be about, that would be helpful. Preferred genres, aspects of the world they would like to explore, etc. Stuff like that. I'm a pretty flexible GM when it comes to the plot. :) - kabael - Kintaro Oe - Derek Guder - "It has never happened if the memory is not there." -Serial Experiments Lain kabael's netbook - http://kabael.8m.com the McGuffin Group - http://members.xoom.com/McGuffins review developer - Ex Libris Nocturnis - http://www.nocturnis.net *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.imagiconline.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. As far as plot goes, I'm not a combat-freak. I like a story that might have a minor skirmish or two, with the big battle as a climax. I like stories that involve the natural phenomena of Poseidon too. But, whatever you come up with to stress the system is best! An exploration game might be interesting, but I would really like an intrigue and political game. I have thought about playing a Bodyguard character...very alert, very intuitive, very quick. Someone who has a decent level of combat skill, but mostly pistol accuracy with the skills to help him get along in society with the upper society...fashion, diplomacy a decent education (able to talk about different subjects without going "duh...." Perhaps trained for such duty in organized crime but having decided to go independent to make Real money and choose who he wants to protect...someone who knows how to drive offensively and defensively. I think I'll cut it there (although if there is an outpouring of interest, I'll go Greg's route of PC selection). those involved are: Greg Benage - gbenage@ix.netcom.com Pookajo - gfitzroy@intranet.ca EndersWAR1@aol.com Corax@aol.com if other people really want in, lemme know and I'll see what I can do. Those involved - we need to all get IRC or something and put our heads together to plan on a basic idea that you guys want for the game and then make characters that are connected in at least some way (unless you want the ever-popular "common people thrown together in the face of imminent death" kind of game :) I know Corax doesn't have IRC, does anyone else? Ahem. I don't want to join. However, I would like to offer up the players in my Blue Planet game to be sacrificial mooks in yours: Chris Stilson Jeff Fraska Jim Fraska Rick Havlak Kris Havlak Seamus Flynn Rick Hagie Gary Gygax Dave Bozwell So, the next time you need to choose a name for a random splatmonkey, look at this list first. Oh, wait, this was supposed to be a political intrigue game, wasn't it? Oh well, I'll just take my little list o' death to Usenet, where it'll be more appreciated...sniff, sniff.
