What I like most is that is explains a process. It reminds me of the first few seasons of the Xfiles. (Initially the main draw of the Xfiles was its heavy use of real FBI procedures.) By understanding what and how the process works in the BP setting, it gives me, as a GM, more material to work with. I can inject various complications at various points along the process which leads to more complex and varied adventures. Which is very cool, but if there is another Wormhole in the Serpentis System and/or Sol System, why haven't they been discovered yet?" Christopher Gribbon wrote "Several potential reasons: [1] - is anyone looking? [2] even if they are, spotting the first one was a bit of fluke, wasn't it - they're not exactly *big* [3] OK - they might be dense, and might gravitationally perturb other orbits and stuff but even so - exactly how much is known about the Serpentis System's Oort-cloud- equivalent? Would anyone notice the peturbations?" Also who's to say that if there is another wormhole, that it'll be located in exactly the same orbit. Another one could be located several AU out from the first. The people at my local comics/gaming store were checking in the new game stock as I walked in. The person doing it told me there was BP in with it, but it might be a re-order. Lucky for me I checked, because it turned out to be Frontier Justice. On to the book itself. I really enjoyed the fiction sections in front of the chapters. I read those straight through before anything else. I also liked the sidebars, especially the one on gunshot wounds (although there was a more in depth section on gunshot wounds in the CoC Keepers book.). I'm about halfway through the book and loving every second of it. Keep up the good work guys! I picked up the first edition, then the second edition, and then I had a day of crisis when I realized there are still a few RPG mailing lists I wasn't yet on. :-) -- Watch This Space | xenya@teleport.com | cam#9309026 Listowner: Aberrants_Worldwide, Fading_Suns_Games, TrinityRPG "...oh Brave New World that has such people in it." http://www.teleport.com/~xenya | -- The Tempest, Shakespeare *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. I blame my newsgroup habit. :-) I really should give this list credit for increased sophistication, too. I mean, some places I *do* expect people to pop up with the Leviathan explanation and *mean it* in all earnest seriousness, but the discourse on this list is of a higher caliber. It reminds me of the Fading Suns list...
