Has anyone here read the novel _Blueheart_ by Alison Sinclair?  I'd be
curious to know what you thought of it.

I started reading it. While it shares enormous similarities to Blue
Planet (in fact, that's why I bought it), I found the writing quite
plodding, and never did manage to develop an interest in the characters.

It's too bad, because I really wanted to like it.

A friend of mine may know Alison Sinclair; she apparently works at the
University of Calgary. My friend may have had professional dealings with
her. The next time he sees her, he's planning to ask if she plays Blue
Planet. . .
