And I'm not ruling out the possibility that the Synergy rules will be released in some form under an open license. Well Gobion is apparently ancient Welsh for Harlequin Literally the Heroic Trickster - the less well known Celtic God - Goban. Goban was the Trickster Smith who was especially good at forging alliances of men and metal. That isn't why I was called it, however, it was actually the name of a local village in Wales near where my dad grew up! I have checked several well known sources and as far I as can determine I am the only Gobion in the whole world (except for possibly Russia or Georgia....) - It was a pain at school, but I wouldn't change it for the world now. Frankly, I harldy ever use my last name at all anymore... :o) To be honest, my dad had a bit of a sense of humour - my full name (seriously) is Gobion, Vulcan, Gunnar, Leslie, Stuart, Henry, Constantine Rowlands! and yes - Vulcan is as in Mr Spock... :o) Gobion *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. And I'm not ruling out the possibility that the Synergy rules will be released in some form under an open license. However, they aren't covered by such right now, and as the co-owner of the property and an employee of the licensee, it would be irresponsible of me to my partner and my employer to take any other position. I hope everyone understands that. :) ** I don't think anyone's holding you to any particular fault, Greg, nor are harboring any particular ill will. At least, not on this mailing list ;) I merely wanted an absolutely clear statement of how to deal with it. Don't suppose FFG/BHG/et al would be interested in the idea of distributing Synergy as a standalone booklet? ;) No game included, just rules. *chuckles* -C -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mail2Web - Check your email from the web at http://www.mail2web.com/ . *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. I really dig that. **** (seriously) is Gobion, Vulcan, Gunnar, Leslie, Stuart, Henry, Constantine Rowlands! ** Gadzooks! That's a long name. Although there are a couple names I, personally, would yank out of that list ;), that's pretty impressive! -C -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mail2Web - Check your email from the web at http://www.mail2web.com/ . *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message.
