There's also "Terror/Counterterror" for Millenium's End by Chameleon Games Very good it is too... My comments are in brackets. Jim ========================================= A disk game is basically a miniatures game that uses cardboard disks in place of miniatures. Blue Planet's publisher, Fantasy Flight Games, produces a series of disk games such as Diskwars and RangeWars. [The abortive Star Trek game "Red Alert" from Last Unicorn used the disk system as well.] They'll be producing disk games based on Twilight Imperium and Heavy Gear. In general, disk games are a lot cheaper than a traditional miniatures game. Also, you don't have to paint the disks and they are easier to transport than metal miniatures. [Jeff and I are big fans of Diskwars.] To date, all of the disk games have been collectable, though they remain much cheaper than a game such as Warhammer. Check out www.diskwars.com for more information. The Champion sourcebooks "Dark Champions" and "Justice Not Law" are useful for organized crime and terrorist campaigns also. *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. 'Biohazard' isn't an uncommon word. It's even on store waste cans now around here. FYI, Jim, if you don't follow Battlebots at all, 'Biohazard' has done exceptionally well. Every fight I saw with it, it won. It's so low, with the skirts around the sides, that other bots can't get under for the usual 'ram, ramp and flip'. It's not bad ;) **** Yeah, I saw that on Comedy Central back in December. I figured it was just a coincidence...
