It's still in the draft stage, and it'd never get filmed anyway, since it would require numerous special effects shots for almost every one of its 50-odd scenes, not to mention an ungodly amount of aerial and underwater camera work. To shoot it in live action would probably cost 8 figures... I should mention that Jason Werner deserves partial credit on this because one of the scenes in the trailer is a direct adaptation of an excerpt from his Marshal Church story in the main rulebook... I've got it written up in Word document format. If anyone wants to see, email me at tunkaipoh@pd.jaring.my. And they should be, it's a great system. Why not run Blue Planet with Alternity? I've played in and looked at it, and it would be a pretty good match. That's one of the main reasons I ran BP with CORPS--so the players wouldn't have to learn another system. > Well guess what world they will be "sliding" too 9 > times out of 10? Each chip consists of dozens of chemical detectors, corresponding to the various protein receptors in a human nose. The raw data from the chip is fed back to a microprocessor, which compares the aroma to a database of smell "fingerprints." The intensity and type of smell are sent to an output device, such as Trodes. This enables someone using a Scent Detector Chip to track an animal or object with far more accuracy than even a bloodhound. To add a scent to the database, the user only needs a small sample containing the desired smell. Scent Detector Chips are often integrated into hunting rifles. Anybody want to add some game rules to it? -Andy *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@mpgn.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message.
