Stargate SG-1 runs mainly on the satellite channels over here (some has percolated to terrestial TV, but they still think "If it's SF it's for kiddies" a lot of the time). I happen to be quite keen on it... but it seems to be one of those shows you either get into or you don't. I have taped them all, this is at least in part time-shifting as they persist in showing it on Wednesday evenings which is the games club night, but I have kept the tapes; useful references. Must get round to writing it all up :-) Get a proposal out and see if anyone will bite. I want a Stargate. After WEG's filled bankruptcy and lost SW , LFL put it up on the auction block where several companies went after it. (One of those companies was Decipher and if they did get the rights, they were going to buy FASA so that they would have a RPG division.) WEG lost Herc and Xena, MiB, Stargate, DC Comics (which they go back later), and a bunch of others. From my point of view I'd say the really good computer types would be in Incorperate pay mostly, with a fair few in elite law enforcement/intelligence outffits. On the Black Hats side (although of course Incorperates are most def Grey Hats!!) organised crime will be the best. Free Lancers will be on the fringe mostly...with a few Legends out there (who may or may not really be in employes of the Big Boys).
