Hello All, Now that Archipelago is "out of our hands" so to speak, we finally have a little time to let you know what's next for Biohazard and Blue Planet. This summer will be an active time for us and here is some of what you can expect. 1. First off, of course, Archipelago will ship (approximately three weeks give or take, says the printer). You're in store for more Blue Planet people, places and plots than you can shake an aborigine at, so dive in and enjoy... 2. The Undercurrents newsletter has suffered delays in deference to Archipelago, and so we'll be making up for lost time. We will have issue #3 posted by the end of June and issue #4 will be available in early August. 3. Though the final format and content has yet to be finalized, the Biohazard Games Conventioneer's Pack should be available by the end of July. It will contain at least one convention style BP scenario, complete with pre-generated characters, maps, and other props, as well as BP posters, promos and maybe even a prize or two. These will be available *free* to anyone officially registered to run a BP event at any convention or in-store demo. Full details will be made available as the pack nears completion. 4. We will, of course, be attending the big summer cons and we hope to see as many of you at them as possible. If you can make it, be sure to come by the booth(s) (Origins - #323, GenCon - #839) and say "hey!" We still hope to have some kind of Blue Planet list get-togther-thingie at both cons - drinks or maybe even a late night BP game? We'll keep you posted. 5. Of course, what would a busy summer be without a Blue Planet supplement - or two - in the works: First in line is Access Denied - Blue Planet's game screen and plot hook booklet. The plan is for a GenCon release, but that will depend, in part, on you. That's right, *you*. We had a great time with the Archipelago intro contest and, as promised, we hope to again involve players of Blue Planet in the development of the BP universe. We will be accepting submissions for Access Denied from *you* in hopes of including your ideas in the our wet little world. Complete submission guidelines will be posted in the next few days, so fire up your imaginations and stay tuned. *Please* hold any submissions and/or questions until we post the guidelines as doing so will help prevent any confusion and wasted effort. Also in production is Fluid Mechanics - Blue Planet's technology guide. You may recall a description or two of FluMech in recent posts, and the same promo appears in Undercurrents #2. This book is much more than the typical gamer's shopping wish list, and focuses as much on integrating the technology into game play as much a describing individual items of equipment. This book is a must for game moderators and players alike. In a week or so, we will also be posting the current list of the Blue Planet releases planned for what we refer to "in-house" as the first and second phases of the BP line. This list will contain brief descriptions of what you can expect in each book, offering you an idea of where the game line is headed. Well, enough blathering for now. Again, I would like to personally thank you for your patience during the production of Archipelago, and for your continued enthusiasm for the line. It's that kind of support that makes doing BP worthwhile.Thank you From the depths... Jeff Barber Biohazard Games PS: Remember - Bataku says "VOTE BLUE!"
