Plastics make up almost everything. AdamL __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Just picked up blue planet V2 the other week...ah, nice and slick system. I'll say now that I got it as a break to Rifts, where the MDC was begining to drive me mad a bit. Its nice to come to this book though and have clear and well presented rules...though I had to reread some a couple of times...like being able to burst three rounds in one second. I've never seen a system really cover the true rate of fire for weapons, so closely. Anyway, I just had a vague prop hint for games, that I wanted to share. I thought it would be cool (or even kewl!) if the crossbow bolts the natives fire are glass bolts. Please don't take the tangent that they'd be too brittle or heavy, at least sand/glass must be more common than wood on the planet. The image I want to conjure though, is of those lucious blue waves hardening into lethal clear rods to fight the despoiling newcomers. Just imagine your character ducked behind cover as crystal like shards pincussion the ground next to him, where he stood a second ago...glass crystals so beutiful, so deadly! Anyway, whatever, just an idea in my head....run for your lives! __________________________________________________________________ Get your free Australian email account at http://www.start.com.au *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. Will the series suit all types of PCs? Will it be a global level or street level kind of game? Will it be set in many places or say just Haven? Will it have handouts? Just thoughts. A while back one of the writers mentioned here that Storm Surge was likely to raise its head after Airlock.
