Hmmmmm......... I seem to recall something, that the British armed forces were either using or looking into using something along the lines of nylon bullets? Or am I just hallucinating? Anyone? They call it the Green Bullet, it replaces the copper-jacketed lead core with a copper-jacketed tungsten tin or nylon core. The main ingredient is the tungsten though, not the nylon. As with most things in BP, I would assume bullets are made of bioplastic. AdamL __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? That's not just an american concern. In France for instance, there is a place where hunters are so active that fauna is intoxicated with lead. Now they hunt lead-poisoned game. So cool... 8.[ But as far as I know, military ammunition don't contain as much lead as civilian ammunition. cheers, Remi. *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. Multiply that times the number of army bases and you have a whole lot of lead seeping into your ground water. ...and when is the last time you heard about the US Army killing someone?
