And the index is wonderful! The one complaint I had about the main rule book was the limited index. AD rectifies that, and then some. Excellent job! One minor snit (there had to be at least one :-): I want more cetacean stuff! There was only one hook in AD geared towards cetaceans. Orcas have always been a passion of mine (yes, Shamu had a big impact on me as a kid...), and the ability to role play a sleek killer whale is what drew me to BP in the first place. I'd love to see something on how to better use cetaceans in the game. More plot hooks, more tech, and maybe even some GMing tips for handling mixed parties (humans and cetaceans) would all be useful. One last comment, there is a plot hook (I don't remember which one just now...) that refers to Undercurrents #5. I checked the web page and didn't see UC #5 up yet. Is this something that will be up soon? Just curious. Thanks for the excellent products. - Andy Fix *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.imagiconline.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message. The GGO Picnic will be a small event held in Columbus, OH on Aug. 21. What we *need* are GM's to run games, and what I *want* is someone to run a BP demo. I can't as my time will be taken up mostly with administration duties, but *many* members of the GGO have voiced interest in the BP setting. The con is open to all gamers, so you don't need to be a GGO member, and it's completely free. Anyone interested in running a BP game, or simply attending can send e-mail to ggopicnic@aol.com. My only scheduling concern would be now traditional street concert. Unfortunately, no one seems to know who is playing (if anyone) and on which night. Has anybody heard? Anyway, let's tentatively say Saturday night. All interested folks should gather at the Biohazard booth (# yet to be annouced) at 5:45, just before the hall closes, and we can go from there. Options: 1. We could go to dinner before the concert - there are some cool restaurants nearby; Giordanos (sp?) Pizza, Rock Bottom Brewery (appropriate for an Atlas Executive dinner ; ), the Bombay Bicycle Club, and the old standby, Toy's Buffet. 2. We could just go for beers too, before or after the concert - or both ; ). 3. If the concert is not an issue, we could maybe even eat, drink and or play though the BP demo or some such... Suggestions, comments? Who all plans to be there? You have two questions: 1. Cetaceans - an upcoming Undercurrents - probably #7 - will deal with cetaceans and all the questions you ask. This should be out a lot sooner than recent UC production rates would indicate - say October. I hope this will help. 2. UC #5 - Undercurrents #5 should be posted in the next week or so. To be honest, the real delay is that I can not get the scenario to work right. If I can not rectify this soon, I will abandon the idea completly and use another entirely.
