Yah. I'm in the middle of converting something Blue Planet to CORPS--similar
to GURPS but superior in the biased minds of those of us who play it :)
For me, its not that Blue Planet doesn't have a functional system, it's
just that our group knows CORPS, and it's easier to spend an hour converting
it to a system we know than for everyone to learn a new system.

I get the cool factor...the primary reason I can think of to use a jumpcraft
over a seaplane is rough weather takeoffs and landings.

Now onto my question...I knew I had a reason to quit lurking. I'm trying to 
get a feel for body armor in Blue Planet so I can convert it. I haven't got
Archipelago yet (soon, hopefully), but it doesn't appear to be in there.
Anyway, how much better is it than today's technology?

Also, in Guns! Guns! Guns!, the system I'm using for creating weapons in
CORPS, laser weapons are starting to be practical in some battlefield
technology, in limited applications. How are laser weapons going to be
used in Blue Planet? I realize these questions will probably be answered
in the Tech guide, but I'd prefer not to wait that long.

Hey All, 

Just a note to sign off for the week as most of the Biohazard crew is bound
for GenCon. We should all be back online after next weekend.

If you are making the trek to the Con, be sure to stop by the booth (#839) and
check out the scene. For those that are interested, we are planning a BP list-
serve get-together on Saturday evening - dinner and then drinks, or maybe a BP
game? Or maybe even a chance to playtest a new product we are working on...

Anyway, if you are going to be there, and are interested in getting togther,
come by the booth at 5:50pm on Saturday, and we'll decide what to do then.
