Personally, I'm a masochist and enjoy spending long hours creating detailed raytracing designs. I would LOVE to work on creating a 3D computer generated vision on Poseidon. It would take a long time and all but I've always wanted to create a "virtual world". getting started on basics right now. Since land masses are difficult without a 3D modeller (don't have one right now), I'm starting to work on Dyfedd. I like the idea of a floating city. On a different note. I've been doing some reading on hydroponics and found a reference to the Aztecs using hydroponics. They would build rafts of reeds rushes and weeds and pile soil taken from the bottom of the lake onto it. They would plant their crops in the soil and the roots would grow down into the water. I assume the native population of Poseidon uses techniques similar to this. How since they lived in a largely swampy area, actual soil and surface were highly limited commodoties. In my experience it's ranged from a little to really rubbish. That said if it's based on autocad then would it not be better tog et your hands on a copy of autocad lite, which I believe fits on a single HD disc (though I may be wrong). Just about on topic. Any of the Biohazard people know what programme was used when designing the stuff for the books because by and large they're the best maps I've seen in an RPG for a long time. But then that's something that (as an archaeologist and amatuer cartographer I pay a lot of attention to.) I think that's it for now. --- Shanhat "I'm too young to marry Too old to mess about Let me be your carry out At closing time."
