Six months or a year is a long time to wait, especially for a fan-submission that I could get posted on, say, Stormsurge, in maybe a week. I understand that Biohazard has other priorities, and I'd rather see new books coming out, but here's my thoughts on Undercurrents: > > 1) More information is an absolute must. Requests for stuff, replies saying "we got it, we like it(or not), and we'll get around to publishing it in a few months. For example, I submitted something and didn't even receive a "got it" e-mail for a few weeks, so I stuck it on Storm Surge. > > 2) Less themed issues. I like the idea of themed issues in principle, but I'd rather see four or six non-themed Undercurrents than two themed Undercurrents per year. > > 3) Maybe a volunteer to coordinate everything? I bet you could get someone on the list to do it. Heck, I'd volunteer, but I bet you could find someone with better skills or something. I'm thinking a volunteer to collect submissions, do some editing and compile a rough issue, then send it to Biohazard for approval and some finishing touches. That could make it much faster. > > Chao, > Andy Wills > Punta Arenas > Patagonia > Chile > > _____________________________________________________________ > Sluggy.Net: The Sluggy Freelance Community! > *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list send mail to majordomo@lists.ient.com with the line 'unsubscribe blue_planet' as the body of the message.
