The videos have been out from at least 24 Sept 01 in the UK, as have the books that tie in. I've seen them in UK retailers like Tesco, Borders and some other bookshops. I must remember to watch it this week... From bitter experience over on this side of "the pond" it can be rather hard to put together a dedicated group of sci-fi players. Still for Blue Planet its well worth the effort - at Keele (university in Staffordshire - http://www.keele.ac.uk/socs/ks01/ and then click on campaigns) we managed to get two campaigns of six players running for a year each. Not bad, really. The information on mine is up. I may even sketch the adventures out when I get a chance. And as for the Brits not being as gung ho as the Americans I merely wish to point out that (spit) Rifts (spit) has been known to sell, and I personally have been known to run Twilight:2000. I shall now slink off muttering that I was much younger then and no-one likes it anymore. >From: "David Andrews" >Reply-To: blue_planet@lists.ient.com >To: >Subject: Re: Re: [BLUE PLANET] - BPonTV in UK >Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2001 18:07:37 +0100 > >Perhaps its because the British psyche is'nt (normally) as gung-ho as the >americans. Do you mean to say someone was playing Blue Planet a mere 15 miles away and I didn't know!!! If you want to write up some adventures, Adam, I'd be delighted to get them into the RPGA convention circuit... Hugs and kisses, Mexal.
