Judging by the picture, it looks like it could mount one heavy weapon (on the order of an assault cannon) and one hand-weapon, but I'd like the clarification nevertheless. Also: why weren't there any formalized stats given for spacecraft? I can understand why the large space transports didn't have them listed (let's face it: they're more plot-devices & settings than actual game gadgets), but not even the shuttles or drop ships, which could concievably come into combat with VTOL fighters or ground troops, have stats. I've seen enough billionth-generation tapes where you can barely hear anything or shows where the mouths don't even try to match the words, but it's the inability of American voice actors to put any effort into their work astounds me. What's worse is that I can watch an American production of something like Aoen Flux or The Maxx and _love_ the voice acting there. It actually makes me wish that MTV had bought the rights to shows like Escaflowne instead of Fox, maybe they wouldn't have butchered it. >Lip flap is the term for when the mouth moves out of >sync with the sound. Not only that, but in Japan you can actually make a living being a voice actor. In America, cartoons are for kids, and dubbing anime seems to be where a lot of washed-up actors slosh ashore. The only good dubs I've heard have been Shinesman and GoldenBoy. There have been bearable dubs and even dubs that have had their moments (like Cowboy Bebop - but the actors don't hit their strides until more than halfway through the show - and we lose out on Megumi Hayashibara), but I have yet to see the problem eliminated completely, aside from ditching dubs altogether. It's really damn sad, because my friends and I could do better jobs dubbing than 90% of what I've heard - and we'd do it just for the chance to be in the show and copies of the subbed and dubbed finals. I'm sure there's a whole fan-dubbing market out there that studios would do well to try to tap, although it might be a bit hard. Have I missed anything? Next, I hear undercurrents is going to be doing some theme issues, and that the next one is cetaceans (is that issue 7?) What other themes are in the pipeline, I would like to contribute something. Which leads us to... What are the submission guidelines for undercurrents? for that matter, what are the opportunities for freelance writing with Biohazard? Finally, I have been kicking around an idea for an adventure for BP for a while. It seems like a pretty basic idea and before I work to develop it further I would like to know if it has already been done. It somewhat resembles the natural instinct adventure on BH's web site, in that a group of PC's crash somewhere on poesiden, but I want to make it a shuttle that is coming down from prosperity station, the PC's will all be newcommers just arriving on the waterworld (they still have spots) when they crash and end up on their own. I am trying to make it an introductory adventure to get some of my players to actualy PLAY the game, instead of just hearing me talk about it. Does anything like that already exist? No, not for folks with spots. I suppose you could replace the cops and convicts in Natural Law with your newcomers, but then they might not stand much of a chance... If you do get around to writing it, here's a tip: have them come across a native hunter soon after landing so that at least they have a few useful survival tips handy. It doesn't have to be a friendly ally character; it could just as easily be a belligerent native activist who tries to convince the newcomers to go home, or a playful fin with a short attention span...but at least someone should be there to show the PCs a few tips. Rule of thumb is that an HEAP warhead will penetrate approximately 3 times its diameter of hard steel armor. If the warhead uses a shaped charge, then its penetration will be roughly proportional to its diameter, even if it uses more advanced explosive and/or fuzing than now technically possible.
