The book does a pretty good job of explaining what things do on the whole, but I'm not sure of a few things on Multiglands. Referring to using it to 'experience the effects of the combat drugs described on page 134-135.' What combat drugs? The only such items is the Pain Inhibitor, which Multiglands do already, and the Reflex Serum, which Multiglands also do already, though not as well. (I am inclined to think the rules under Multiglands supercede Reflex Serum, btw). I am uncertain of what the page reference is for, and also wonder if anyone on the list can suggest effects other than those already described under Multiglands that are possible when one has such a degree of control over one's own hormones. Not being particularly knowledgeable in human biology, the best I could come up with is some cool party tricks. On a different note, does anyone here know how seasons relate to the date on Poseidon? Our calender here on Earth is based on the beginning of the year being roughly the middle of winter, but Poseidon's beginning of year is planetfall. I doubt the Colonists picked a solstice to land! Main reason I want to know is so I can place summer (and the storm season!). In the longer term, it would be easier to affect the way your body shape developed, and you could turn off the 3F response to avoid getting hypertension. If female, you could avoid unwanted pregnancies and choose when to menstruate. For my campaign, I have the summer solstice (for the summer hemisphere) occur on 298.
