Although we had lot's of ideas, I only got four real submissions and although these were all great, they were too well laid out, leaving little room for a "group" project. So... I suggest that you find your favorite Access Denied, from any of the books, and submit it to the list. You can simply post the book, page number and title and if you feel like it you can point out why this Access Denied would make a good Con adventure. If this is acceptable, give it a week and we'll vote on the Access Denieds that are nominated. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? And leave lots of Spoiler space, so my players on the list don't get any ideas, okay? I feel that a cohesive group of PC's with some similar goals enhances game play. There are some obvious teams that I have not listed. Some because the are obvious and others because a team of government officials really does not interest me. Also several professions will appear frequently. Mostly due to their universal usefulness on Poseidon. Colonization The team is centered on an outpost or small settlement. Common goals are survival and advancement of the settlement. If the PC's do not work together, everyone will suffer. Suggested Professions: Civilian Pilot, Guide, Pioneer, Trader, GEO Patrol, Warden, Doctor, and Technician. Commerce Gathered together in pursuit of corporate scrip, the PC's stick together because it is profitable. Suggested Professions: Civilian Pilot, Merchant Crew, Mercenary, and Technician. Crime: Again in pursuit of scrip the PC's think they have found an easier way to make money, or maybe they are just maladjusted. :) Suggested Professions: The crime professions are mutually exclusive. They are not going to work together for long. So the team will consist of one criminal profession with some specialists thrown in for good measure. Civilian Pilot, Medic, Mercenary, and Technician. Incorporate: The PC's make good money working for an incorporate. What they do may not always be palatable, but it's steady work. Suggested Professions: Incorporate Pilot, Medic, Incorporate Security, Mercenary, Scientist, and Technician. Media: Exposing the corrupt underbelly of Poseidon the PC team is out to break the Big Story or altruistically expose the Big Lie. Suggested Professions: Civilian or Incorporate Pilot, Guide, Journalist, Incorporate Security, Mercenary, Sell-Out, and Technician. Medicine: I'm not talking ER or Chicago Hope here. I'm talking about a mobile team that goes where there are people in need of medical assistance or rescuing. EMT's, Search and Rescue, and the like. Suggested Professions: Civilian or Incorporate Pilot, Doctor, Medic, Incorporate Security, Military Pilot, Mercenary, GEO Peacekeeper, Sell- Out, Scientist, and Technician. Mercenary: Those people who fight other's battles for pay. Versatile and mobile, the PC team will probably more of a scalpel than a broadsword. Suggested Professions: Guide, Medic, Military Pilot, Mercenary, Sell- Out, and Technician. Science: Poseidon has many unsolved mysteries, and Man has great curiosity. Whether they are GEO, Incorporate or independent the PC's are looking to solve some of Poseidon's mysteries using science. Suggested Professions: Civilian or Incorporate Pilot, Guide, Merchant Crew, Doctor, Medic, Incorporate Security, Mercenary, Sell-Out, Scientist, and Technician. Hopefully this post will help you with your games. I know just typing it out has given me a number of ideas. Now if I could only find some players. :) =Rich "I am in a hostile environment.
