Hello All, 

I feel like I've been stranded on a tiny islet in the Serendipity
Atolls for the last several weeks - where in the deep blue is
everybody?

Well, in an effort to stir up a little traffic on the list, I
thought I would wonder aloud about a topic I've thought a lot about 
since the early days of Blue Planet. My hunch is that as far a sci-fi 
games go, and maybe RPGs in general, BP might have a slightly higher 
appeal to female gamers in that it is a more mature setting, with
more 
to offer than snarfing up treasure and blowing up bad guys. I would
like 
to get a feel for how women have taken to Blue Planet, and to this
end 
here are a few quick questions:

1. How many females are on this list? Chime in ladies!

2. How many of you play in BP games with at least one woman?

3. Are there any female BP game moderators on the list, or in your
gaming groups?

4. Ladies - what are your impressions of the BP setting? 

5. Guys - if you play BP with any female gamers, how do you
characterize their interest in BP?
