The card faces would be released in a book. The players would then photocopy the book onto 8-1/2 by 11 inch labels, cut apart the card faces and stick the labels to regular cards. That way, if a person wanted a deck of nothing but goblins, they could make one. I believe that the cost per card would have been under 10 cents.
